DeepSeek AI was a wake-up call for many who assumed the “Giant Data Centre” and “Trillions in Hardware” requirement for AI was true.

What’s the reality?

The models that CoPilot, ChatGPT, and everyone else uses are all derived from the same open algorithms. It’s probably in your best interest from both a security and cost perspective to just run this stuff yourself.
